RSLAF 2-0 Wikki Tourists of Nigeria
The Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces FC (RSLAF) cruised to a 2-0 home win against Nigerian top flight side Wikki Tourists at the Siaka Steven Stadium, on Sunday.
Wikki Tourist must make up a two-goal deficit to stay in the CAF Confederation Cup after Sam Kabba and Ibrahim Sillah ensures the Sierra Leone 2017 CAF Confederation Cup representative won comfortably in the first leg preliminary in Freetown.
The home side was spot on from the start as they pushed for the opener Sam Kabba netted after 17 minutes and Ibrahim Sillah struck a second before half-time.
Wikki Tourists fought hard for a consolation but met a stiff resistant from the home side.
RSLAF put in a great performance and they were robust as they kept a clean sheet with a two goals advantage into the second leg next weekend.
The second fixture is slated for next week at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in the City of Bauchi.
