In-form Kargbo nets again as Berliner AK 07 claim victory

The Berliner 07 striker Abu Bakarr Kargbo netted the game’s only goal as his side took a 1-0 win over FSV Budissa Bautzen on Saturday afternoon in the German Regionalliga.

The win leaves Berliner second four points adrift behind Chemnitzer F in the race for promotion to the third-tier next season.

The former German U17 international has racked up (13) thirteen league goals in 22 appearances this season.

The defeat has left FSV Budissa Bautzen in more danger of relegation.

The post-match interview.

Ersan Parlatan (Berlin): “We have played a very bad regional league game for our purposes, the best part was the weather today, we did not play football in any way, it had nothing to do with second-placed Bautzen Deserved a point, but we still came out victorious, that’s the positive. ”

Petrik Sander (Bautzen): “It was nothing and had nothing to do with a relegation battle, it was an attempt to solve footballing issues we are currently unable to solve footballing – balls are played over five meters to the opponent into which counter we ran, so the 0: 1 was born, and at some point you should reward yourself for the effort. ”

Born in Sierra Leone, and raised in Germany, Kargbo was part of the Sierra Leone side that lost 4-0 against Iran in a friendly encounter in March 2018.
