Striker Augustus Kargbo continued his fine form in front of goal when he scored Reggio Audace third goal to seal 3-1 victory over Arzignano Valchiampo at home on Monday.

The goal was his ninth of the season in nineteen appearances on loan from Serie B side FC Crotone

As a result, they are second four points adrift off league leaders Vicenza.

Luca Zampora scored in the 44th just before the break to give the home side the lead.

After the restart, Davide Balestrero level the scoreline with a nice finish in the 56th before Zampora scored again from the spot to restore Audace lead two minutes later.

It’s no secret that Kargbo, 20, who has been pivotal for Reggio Audace this campaign, completed the vital third to ensure they secure maximum points.

The Sierra Leonean striker maintained his impressive form. The result was a much-needed after their 5-1 defeat to Carpi on matchday 25.
