Crystal Palace youngster Sullay Kaikai scored both goals in their 2-1 victory over near-neighbours Bromley at Hayes Lane in today’s pre-season preparations.

Kaikai, who is desperate for first team action in Alan Pardew’s Premier side in the coming season, was impressive.

The PFA Fans’ Player of the Month for October 2015 opened the scoring with a neat finish on 22 minutes, following good work from Welsh international Jonny Williams.

The 20-year-old hailing from Sierra Leonean parents scored his second with a superb free-kick which flew in off the post.

He was very instrumental for Shrewsbury Town on loan last campaign. He finished the season as Shrewsbury’s top scorer, registering 12 goals before returning to his parent club on 3 May.

He made his Premier League debut in Palace last game of the season on 15 May, replacing Jordon Mutch at half-time in a 4–1 loss at Southampton.

The South Norwood, London-based club face Valencia on home soil next weekend in their final run-out of the summer, before playing host to West Bromwich Albion in their opening Premier League fixture.
