…Koroma in action reflects on 5-1 defeat to Östersund

Ishmael Koroma was left disappointed to exit the Swedish Cup following Nyköpings BIS two straight defeats.

The Sierra Leone international was in Nyköpings BIS side that suffered another 5-1 thrashing against Östersund on Saturday.

The frustrated 20-year-old says Nyköpings will bounce back quickly but acknowledges their first two cup matches was a disappointment.

They were also defeated in their opening group 7 Cup game 3-2 against Hammarby last Saturday at the Rosvalla IP.

“I was very disappointed obviously, said Koroma. “We had a plan, and I think we started well, but after we got a man sent off early on in the match it became difficult for us,” he told footballsierraleone.net.

“In our first game, we played better because we came from three goals down to 3-2 and we were unlucky not to get a draw.”

Nyköpings BIS are first from the bottom from Group 7 and they will be playing for pride when they face Varbergs BoIS FC at the Påskbergsvallen Arena next Sunday, March 5, 2017.
