Sierra Leone striker Sheka Fofanah delivers his verdict on Frýdek-Místek debut following a 1-1 draw with SFC Opava on Saturday.

Fofanah, 19, who was introduced in the last ten minutes of their opening league contest, was satisfied just to play in front of the home fans.

Nicolas Šumský opener in the 49th minutes for the Frýdek-Místek was cancelled out by Tomáš Smola for SFC Opava.

Despite a 1 all draw at home, the Leone Stars who lost his dad on Monday said he was buzzing even though he only played in the last ten minute of the tie.

Emotional Fofanah said, “I was happy with my debut performance despite coming on in the last ten minute.

“The manager was sympathising with me and never wanted to play me after the death of my Dad last Monday.”

He signed a two-year deal with the Czech Republic second tier side earlier this month.

The former Vejle Boldklub is expected to make his full debut away to FK Pardubice next Saturday, August 5.
