The Jags will take on Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic at Celtic Park in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup on Saturday afternoon.

Sierra Leone international, Mustapha Dumbuya, who recently returned from a long injury lay-off, has been named on the bench for the Jags in this lunchtime contest.

Partick Thistle also welcome back Callum Booth.

Sources close to the former Portsmouth defender have confirmed the player was glad to be back on the pitch helping the team after returning from his latest spell on the sidelines.

The pacy right and wingback made his return to the pitch from the start in the Jags 2-1 defeat away to Celtic in the league on January 23.

He has gone on to play in three Scottish top-flight matches since his return.

The 30-year-old has suffered some serious injury trauma in the last two seasons, with Achilles injury he suffered just prior to pre-season 2015/2016 and another serious injury ahead of the 2017/18 season that has seen him miss six months of action.

He had won the club’s McCrea Financial Services Player of the Month for September 2015, after his remarkable start to life with the Scottish side.
