Kwame Quee scored a double for Icelandic club UMF Víkingur Ólafsvík in their 2-2 home draw with Haukar FC on Wednesday

The Leone Stars attacker was twice on target to register his sixth and seventh goal of the season despite his side failed to capitalize and only settled for a point.

Quee scored in the 72nd minute to cancel out Elton Renato 29th minute opener for the visitors.

Comeback

Quee took the lead in the 81st minute for his team as he completed his brace sending the home fans into ecstasy.

However, four minutes to full time the visitors scored the leveller through an Indriði Þorláksson goal to spoil the party for the home side.

The FC Johansen on-loan attacker was making his fourteen appearances for the club this season and he played full throttle of the game.

Standings

The draw for Quee’s Víkingur Ólafsvík means they moved to second in the Pepsi Deildin second-tier standings.

They host to UMF Selfoss next on Monday 13 August in their quest for automatic promotion.
