Attacking midfielder George Davies has returned to SKN St Polten at the end of his FC Riga loan spell.
The 22-year-old made over 20 appearances including Europa League qualifying matches in his nine months spell in Latvia.
Davies was the first from Sierra Leone to win two trophies in Latvia the same season and in history.
Davies wearing No 21 jersey was an instrumental figure helping the Latvian side winning the Latvian top flight title and Latvian Cup.
He joined Austrian Football Bundesliga side, Pölten on a free transfer in July 2017 from German second league side; SpVgg Greuther Fürth on a three-year deal until 2020.
He struggled in Austria, where he played only seven matches before he was sent on loan.
“George Davies has returned from Riga to our team and currently takes part in our training sessions, ” a club spokesperson told footballsierraleone.net.
In the spring of 2017, Davies also played for the Floridsdorfer AC and scored at the last second division match day in a 3-1 home win against Kapfenberger SV.
