Egyptian side Zamalek are through to this year’s Caf Confederation Cup semis after beating Hassania Agadir 1-0 in their quarterfinal second-leg match in Egypt on Sunday.

The Egyptian Army Stadium hosted the contest, and the victory means Zamalek advance to the semifinals where they will face the winner between Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel and Sudanese outfit Al Hilal Omdurman.

Moroccan outfit Hassania failed to capitalize when they hosted Zamalek last week as they played out a goalless draw in Morocco.

Ibrahim Hassan 49th minute goal was enough for the White Knights.

Elsewhere, former holders CS Sfaxien of Tunisia also through after eliminating Nkana FC of Zambia 3-2 on aggregate following a 2-0 victory on Sunday to book a semifinal place.

Zamalek (0) 1 (Hassan 49′) Zamalek won 1-0 on aggregate.
