Kaikai, who joined Breda on a permanent move in January from Crystal Palace, was hoping for regular playing time but has found first-team chances limited in the Eredivisie.

NAC Breda acquired the 23-year-old, in a bid to revive their season. However, things have been very difficult for the struggling side.

“It’s been frustrating as I haven’t played the amount minutes I was hoping for,” Kaikai told Football Sierra Leone.

“I’m a player who wants to be an important member of the team and show my qualities on the pitch. I’ll keep working hard to get more minutes and have a positive impact.”

Since his move, the winger has only appeared in five games with 182 minutes played and has yet to register a goal but is pleased with the Dutch style of football.

“I like the style of Dutch football very much. It’s a style that suits my playing style. Players are comfortable on the ball in all situations, they like to build up from the keeper.”

With four more games to go, this Sunday NAC Breda will take on 14th placed team Fortuna Sittard in round 31 a game they must win to renew any hope of survival.

“We will approach each game like it’s a cup final. We are fighting to stay in the league so we will give 100%. It’s important for a club like NAC Breda to stay in the Eredivisie.”
