Former PSIS Semarang midfielder Ibrahim Conteh says he is excited to start his new adventure with Persipura Jayapura after agreeing on a one-year deal.

The Sierra Leone midfielder has impressed since his move to Indonesia in 2015 from FC Kallon.

After penning his new deal with the Indonesia Liga 1 side, Conteh told the FSL website: “I’m delighted.”

“They are the team that have won most trophies in the country, so I will be happy to be champion with them.”

“I am excited with my new challenge. I’m looking forward to helping the team as much as possible.”

Conteh, 22, is no stranger in the league; he has been living in Indonesia for almost five years now.
