Augustus Kargbo has signed his first professional contract with Serie B FC Crotone.

The 19-year-old has put pen to paper on a new three-year deal, tying him to the club until June 2022.

Kargbo told club website “I am really very proud and happy to have signed my first professional contract.”

“I consider Crotone a real family, they’ve welcomed me all in the best way since the first day I arrived.”

“I thank the Club for the trust it has placed in me. I hope to repay them on the pitch. All I have to do now is to keep working hard.”

The Sierra Leone youngster in July 2018 signed a pre-technical contract.

Kargbo, who had a spell with Campobasso in the Italian Serie D, has been a good player last season.
