Kamara has been a household name because of his ability to score goals, leading top scorers in most of the Inter Communities local championship tournaments organised in Freetown before being scouted and signed by local club AIK Freetong.

The agile striker was part of the Sierra Leone U-20 side against Guinea Bissau during the African Nations Cup qualifiers in April 2018.
