  • Augustus Kargbo has signed for Italian Serie C side Reggio Audace FC on loan from Serie B FC Crotone until the end of the season.
  • The 20-year-old attacker is eager for first-team football. Kargbo, who recently signed a new three-year deal, tying him to the club until June 2022, is hoping to play more often with Audace.

The Sierra Leone-born is relishing the chance of some first-team action and hopes to gain more experience with his new club in their challenge for the Serie C title.

“To be honest, it was difficult for me in the past few weeks. The club didn’t want me to leave, and I wasn’t playing,” Kargbo told FSL online.

“I decided to move because I want to be playing regular football and hopefully I can show what I am capable of doing on the pitch.”

“I was not having enough chances at FC Crotone, but maybe this will help me get the playing time I’m craving to be able to make an impact.”

Kargbo, who had a spell with Campobasso in the Italian Serie D, has been a good player last season for FC Serie B FC Crotone.
