Huddersfield’s Josh Koroma was instrumental with the Elite Development Team following a 3-2 victory over Morecambe as they launched their Central League campaign on Tuesday at the Globe Arena.

Morecambe got off to a better start and came close to gaining an early advantage.

However, it was Koroma, 20, creativity from the left of the pitch, laid on all the goals as Town came from 2-1 down to win 3-2 at Morecambe.

The Sierra Leone native teed up Reece Brown for his brace, and Matty Daly for the other as Dean Whitehead’s side picked up maximum points.

The former Leyton Orient academy product joined Championship side Huddersfield for an undisclosed fee on a three-year contract in June.
