After he registered his third of the season for Reggio Audace in their 2-1 victory over Vis Pesaro, striker Augustus Kargbo has said he is ‘happy and hungry for more’.
Kargbo, who is on loan from Serie B FC Crotone until the end of the season last October scored his first brace for Audace against US Triestina.
As a result, the young attacker was named in the Serie C team of Week Nine by Eleven Sports Italia.
“I’m happy and working hard to get myself more on the score sheet,’ said Kargbo to FSL News. “As a team, we are improving by working very well together.”
“Playing regular football has always been my target, so I was pleased after making my ninth appearance since my loan move. It was three very important points against Pesaro.”
Kargbo, 20, will be hoping to continue his firm form when they face Fernama FC next in Serie C Matchday 16 on Sunday.
