“The coach of the club was someone I used to admire when he was playing for Tottenham Hotspur. He is a legend here in Finland, Kamara told FSL News.
“I’m ready to test myself all over again in the league where I started my professional career in 2006. Haka has a great history of Finnish football.
“I’ve been impressed with the development since I last played here, so I’m very much looking forward to playing in Finland again. I learned a lot the few years I was playing here.”
“I have been fortunate enough to play alongside most of the top players here in Finland. I came back to join Haka because I want to try different ideas.
The former Partizan midfielder last played for HJK Helsinki during the 2016 Veikkausliiga season.
Kamara, who played as a defensive midfielder signed his first contract with Veikkausliiga club KuPS before the 2006 season since then he has gone on to win several accolades including the 2009 Finnish title, a back to back Serbian Superliga title during 2011, 2012 seasons.
“I won the Finnish cup with Kups where I started. I won the league with HJK. Also won league player of the year before I moved to Partizan in 2010.”
Medo, on facing Rodney Strasser’s TPS on Friday 12 June, at the Valkeakoski stadium.
FC Haka play host to Strasser’s TPS in a friendly preparation ahead of the new season.
“Rodney Strasser is a national teammate and a friend as well. It feels good to have him around. It feels good to have another countryman in the league. It was great past years, with the likes of Bantamoi, Hassan Milla, Kabba Samura, Obi Metzger and the list goes on.”
“Rodney is a great player and friend as well, it going be fun playing against each other. I wish him the best. I know he his going to help his team a lot.”
“He’s such a key help to them. He’ll be influential for them this season.”
