- Attacker Mustapha Bundu played the last 10 minutes plus added time after replacing Belgian international Jérémy Doku in the 80th minute to bookmark his official debut since joining the Jupiler pro-side.
- For the first time this season, Bundu was named on the Purple and White’s bench in a Belgian Pro-League game.
Anderlecht defeated Cercle Brugge 2-0 with goals from Lukas Nmecha and Amir Murillo in the 36th and 68th minutes respectively as Manager Vincent Kompany side registered second win of the season on Sunday.
As a result, they moved up to fifth on the Belgian Pro-league standing three points adrift of leaders Charleroi.
Meanwhile, Bundu, who was in Anderlecht side in their 1-1 draw against Bayer Leverkusen at the Bay arena, will be hoping for more game time.
