Gabon’s striker Aaron Boupendza takes Hatayspor’s tally to nine

• Aaron Boupendza has expressed his delight after registered six goals in Hatayspor’s last two matches in the Turkish Super League.

The Gabonese scored a brace in Saturday’s 2-1 win over Konyaspor and last week registered four goals in exactly 37 minutes in their 6-0 thrashing over Antalyaspor.

“It’s my first season, in the Super League, and I’m pleased to be part something so historic,” Aaron Boupendza noted.

Boupendza, who joined the Turkish top-tier side from the French side, Bordeaux, in August, has taken his tally to 9 from 13 games.

Newly promoted Hatayspor are 5th on the table standings after 15 games, only three points behind leaders Alanyaspor.
