- Two new stadiums and two have had a facelift in readiness for this year’s Total African Nations Championship, CHAN with the host young Lions of Cameroon up against Zimbabwe while Mali battle it out against Burki-Faso fro Group A on Saturday.
The sixth edition of the CHAN will run from January 16 to February 7, 2021, in Cameroon with matches at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaoundé, Japoma Stadium in Douala, Douala Reunification Stadium and Stade Omnisports de Limbe.
Holders Morocco will kick-off their CHAN defence against Togo on Monday at the Douala Reunification Stadium. In 2018, they opened the tournament with a 4-0 win over Mauritania as host nations.
In the final, the Atlas Lions thrashed Nigeria 4-0 to lift the trophy in grand style.
