Former Leicester defender Sesay makes Sabail debut

Former Leicester City academy player, Alie Sesay, has made his Sabail debut in the Azerbaijan Premier League at the ASCO Arena on Friday.

The Sierra Leone defender, who joined on a short-term deal until the end of the season, was named in the squad ahead of their match against Sabah.

A win may improve their standing in the Azerbaijan Premier League log.

Sesay impressed with Greece side Kissamikos making 28 appearances in all competitions in 2018-19 seasons.

He has capped eight times with Sierra Leone since his debut in a 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualification match against Cameroon on 11 October 2014.
