Exciting young attacker Yayah Kallon can’t wait to start against Serie A, reigning champions Inter Milan at the historic San Siro Stadium on Saturday.
A new Serie A season is about to get underway, and there’s a new champ in town, but Sierra Leone-born has said it will be massive for him if selected.
Kallon, 20, is excited after being named in the Genoa CFC squad ahead of their season opener.
“This means a lot to me going up against the Champions at the San Siro, and I can’t wait. Let wait and see if I am going to come in or starting this game,” he briefly told FSL News.
“I am so excited and looking forward to doing my best for Genoa this season. So many superstars have played in this great stadium,” Kallon, who scored in Genoa 3-2 win in the Italian Cup over AC Perugia Calcio, noted.
The rossoblù Primavera youngster has joined the likes of Mohamed Kallon, Kewullay Conteh, Rodney Strasser and Augustus Kargbo with a proud Serie A experienced.
Meanwhile, the club also confirmed the signing of Mexico international defender Johan Vasquez from Pumas for a reported €3.5m.
The centre-back can also play as a left-back and turns 23 in October.
