Sierra Leone international midfielder John Kamara has returned to Azerbaijan Premier League side Keshla.
Kamara, 32, last season played 23 top-tier games before leaving on a mutual agreement. However, he has reached a new agreement with the club after medical on Monday.
The former Riga and Kaysar defensive midfielder who joined the club in January 2019 has played over 55 matches in all competitions helping his Azerbaijan top-tier outfit to a Europa League spot in 2020.
He played the full throttle of their second leg Europa League qualifying matches against Laçi when Keşla were eliminated at home 5-4 on penalties in August 2020.
“I’m delighted to be back and looking forward to helping the club. Nothing new, I am back in an environment I am used to,” Kamara to FSL News.
Keşla has only managed two wins and a draw in their last seven games this season. Kamara will be hoping to make his return debut against Gabala FK on October 24th, away from home.
