Sierra Leone defender David Sesay has confirmed he will be out for up to four weeks with a groin injury following a recent scan result.
The Barnet defender made his Sierra Leone debut in a 1-1 draw against South Sudan on Oct 6 and went on to play the remaining two matches during the training camp in Morocco against the Gambia and home-based Moroccan side.
Sesay, 23, sustained the injury in the game against the home-based Morocco side at the Stade El Bachir, Mohammédia, last month.
As a result, the former Crawley Town player will miss the Leone Stars training camp in Turkey, where Sierra Leone is expected to face Comoros national side this month.
Since returning to his club, he has not played in their last three outings in their defeat to Wrexham, 2-1 win over Stockport County
and last Saturday win against Aldershot Town.
“Small tear in my groin but should be back beginning of December,” he briefly told FSL Sports
