Sierra Leone defender David Sesay has signed for Wealdstone on a free transfer after leaving National League rivals Barnet.
The Ruislip London Borough-based outfit competes in the English National League. They are presently fifteen on the log after 16 matches on 21 points.
The 23-year-old, who earned his first call-up to Sierra Leone last month and made his debut in a 1-1 draw against South Sudan in October, departed Barnet on mutual consent.
Sesay, who played in all three matches for the Leone Stars in their training camp in Morocco last month, will continue on a new adventure after recovery from his injury.
The Watford Academy product began his professional career at Crawley Town, where he made 70 appearances in three seasons before joining Barnet this summer.
“We welcome David to the Stones! He will wear the number 11 shirt and goes straight into Saturday’s squad to face Stockport County,” the club announced on their website.
