Sierra Leone winger Mustapha Bundu scored his second goal for AGF as they shared 3F Superligaen spoils with Silkeborg IF at Ceres Park on Friday.
AGF played to a 1-1 draw against Silkeborg as they failed to take maximum points to move closer to the top six in the 17th round of the Superliga.
Bundu, 24, who made his AGF second debut in September, scored in the 17-minute with a left-footed shot from inside the area.
The host was brilliant in the opening 20 minutes – most probably their best approach all season! Excellent pressure and total control on Silkeborg.
The visitors, on a few occasions, threatened with some good football looking for the equaliser. However, the AGF defence was awake as they held done to a first-half lead.
In the restart, Silkeborg IF was on the front foot mostly but could not take their chances until the 70th-minute when Rasmus Carstensen drew parity with his header.
Subsequently, both teams tried, but more goals did not come.
It was Bundu’s tenth league match in his second spell with the Whites. Bundu joined the cub on a season-long loan from Anderlecht on August 31st in a bid to revive his career.
The result means AGF stayed seventh on the log after their last two draws four points adrift off Silkeborg IF, who occupied fifth with 25 points.
