The Sierra Leone international Sullay Kaikai scored first goal of the season in Wycombe Wanderers‘ 3-1 defeat to Wigan Athletic Adams Park on Tuesday night.
His first-half strike gave Wycombe a half-time lead, but the home team failed to maintain the lead. He netted in the 22nd minute with a crisp finish from the edge of the box.
In the second half, the visitors scored three goals in twelve minutes for the visitors to ensure a super away performance for Leam Richardson’s men.
Latics found the net through Tom Naylor’s close-range header in the 70-minute and a brace from Callum Lang in the 78th and 82nd minutes, respectively.
The 26-year-old, who signed for the Chairboys in the summer on a free from Blackpool, has played 21 League One matches for the club.
