Senegal and Morocco from Group A have qualified for the TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations quarter-finals.
Teranga Lionesses secure a 1-0 win over their Burkinabe counterpart at the Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex on Tuesday.

Substitute Korka Fall, who had come on only seven minutes earlier to make her tournament debut, converted the spot-kick.
Morocco, on the other hand, with a better goal difference than Senegal, defeated Uganda ladies 3-1 to reach the second round of the competition for the first time in the country’s history.
Both Atlas Lionesses and Teranga Lionesses on six points, while Burkina Faso, third in the group after two defeats, must win against Uganda in a bid to secure a best third-place finish.
