As reported on Thursday, Reading Football Club have confirmed the signing of the new arrival of midfielder Tyrese Fornah on a season-long loan from Nottingham Forest.
Fornah, 22, who is a central midfielder, spent the second half of last season on loan in League One at Shrewsbury Town. In his 19 appearances, he was an instrumental figure on Steve Cotterill’s side.
Head of Football Operations Mark Bowen told the club’s website, “Adding to our midfield options became a high priority this summer, but we needed to identify the right type of player and targeted characters who would be a good fit for this football club. Tyrese is a fit, strong, talented young midfielder who is full of promise, and I am delighted he has agreed to join us for 2022-23.”
Fornah initially came through the Academy system at Brighton & Hove Albion before joining Forest’s youth ranks in the summer of 2018.
