Back-to-back Swedish Champions Malmo FF have completed the signing of former Allsvenskan’s golden boot winner Mohamed Buya Turay on a three-year and half-year deal.
Before joining Longmen, he moved to China to join Hebei China Fortune after winning the 2019 golden boot and Swedish league with Djurgårdens in early November.
This is the sixth Swedish club since 2013 when he first played for Juventus IF, based in Västerås.
Turay, who last season played for the Chinese side Henan Songshan Longmen, is the second player from Sierra Leone to sign for the Sky Blue after Samuel Barlay.
Barlay signed for Malmö FF from Sierra Leonean East End Lions shortly after the 2003 FIFA U-17 World Championship.
