The Barea top Group C with victories over Ghana and Sudan as they opened their scoring in the 13th minute against Sudan in their group final game.

Tokinantenaina ‘Tsiry’ Randriatsiferana found his way behind the Sudanese defence to sneak the ball past goalkeeper Mohamed Mustafa.

Two more goals from Solomampionona Razafindranaivo and Lalaina Rafanomezantsoa were enough as they took control of proceedings at the magnificent Chahid Hamlaoui Stadium in Constantine, Algeria.

Madagascar forward Koloina Razafindranaivo was pleased with his side’s performance after he was named Man of the Match.

“In the game today, we were bolder. Though we won the first match, we weren’t this bold,” Razafindranaivo said.

“I am happy to be the man of the match today. My work on the field had its recognition today. That makes me very happy.” West African side
