Sierra Leone winger Kwame Quee has confirmed departing Israeli Premier League club Hapoel Haifa after a mutual agreement to terminate the midfielder’s contract seven months after joining the club.
“It’s come to an agreement with me and Hapoel Haifa to end the contract. I wish ya the best of luck for the rest of the season,” Quee posted on Twitter.
The 26-year-old played over 20 matches for the club in all competitions since July 2022 and scored one goal.
His game for the Premier League side Hapoel Haifa was against Cyprus top-tier side Omonia in a pre-season friendly on July 18 2022.
Hapoel Haifa won their first pre-season test match 1-0 ahead of the new Israeli Premier League campaign at mythical GSP Stadium in front of about 3,000 local fans.
Quee, who won the 2019 Icelandic Cup with Víkingur last season, played for Saudi club Najran.
