Sierra Leone striker Idris Kanu registered his seventh of the season in Barnet’s emphatic 4-1 win over Aldershot Town at the Hive Stadium.
Aldershot Town suffered a heavy defeat in the capital, their third defeat in a week, with a 4-1 loss to Barnet on Saturday.
The Bees started well with Ryan De Havilland hitting the post from a free-kick in the 12th minute.
In the 13th minute, Harry Pritchard opened the scoring by chipping the ball from the edge of the box to take the lead.
Aldershot levelled in the 59th minute through Ryan Glover, who smashed the ball into the top corner before Harry Smith restored Barnet’s lead six minutes later with a header at the back post.
Idris Kanu, 23, got on the end of a long ball forward before slotting his shot under Ashby-Hammond for Barnet’s third in the 76th-minutes.
The win means Barnet ended their three consecutive National League losses by defeating Aldershot.
Substitute Courtney Senior made a quick impact from the bench to score the fourth in the 82nd minute.
