Sierra Leone skipper Steven Caulker has admitted that his spell at Dens Park revitalised his love for the game after off-field issues derailed his Premier League career.
Caulker, 31, who played 19 times for Dundee, has lifted the lid on his “insane” time at Dens Park as he revealed joining Neil McCann’s Dark Blues saw his love for the game return.
Caulker scored on his debut for the club in a 3-2 loss against Kilmarnock.
Speaking on the Under The Cosh podcast, he said: “My options were limited (before signing). I had one or two snippets in China, but I wasn’t ready for something like that, I wanted some kind of normality.”
