Morocco Heads to the U.S. for Final World Cup Preparations

Morocco’s national soccer team is preparing for the 2026 FIFA World Cup as they departed for the United States ahead of their final training, where they’ll face Norway in their last warm-up match.

The team left Rabat‑Salé Airport after a training camp in Morocco, as they defeated Madagascar 4-0, boosting their confidence. The game took place at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.

Brahim entered the game in the 81st minute and helped his team score the fourth goal. His shot from outside the box hit the post, and El Kaabi took the rebound to score. Earlier, Saibairi scored two goals, and Rahimi scored from a penalty.

While in America, Coach Mohamed Ouahbi’s players will finalise their tactics with a friendly against Norway on June 7 before the tournament. Morocco’s World Cup begins on June 13 against Brazil at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

They will also play Scotland on June 19 and Haiti on June 24. The Atlas Lions hope to build on their recent successes and make a strong impact at the World Cup.
